What is it precisely that God expects from those of us who profess his name? Do we have a responsibility to God for what takes place within our communities and the nation in which we live? Will God hold nominal Christians accountable for the loose rein they have given to morals, and the lifestyle they have adopted to meet that level of morality? Is there coming a day when the price must be paid for the blessings all Christians have been entrusted with, but have failed to use to honor God and our fellow citizens? Is there coming a day when like Israel of old, God will require an accounting of the beliefs and values and actions lived out in the life of professed Christians? I think there is, and it is probably coming sooner than we think.”
