Check Out These Prosperity Preachers’ Million Dollar Mansions

With the recent surge in word-faith and prosperity preachers around the country, there has been an alarming trend involving high-profile pastors living extravagant lifestyles, which include multi-million dollar mansions, private jets and the acquisition of other highly-expensive possessions.

Christians (particularly Christian leaders) are called to pursue lives of humility and be good stewards of the resources God entrusts them with. Storing up treasures on earth is an unbiblical principle that sets a poor example and causes others to stumble in the sins of covetousness and idolatry.

Certainly, there is nothing wrong with being financially blessed by God — however, it’s what one chooses to do with that blessing that can cause problems. In addition, the misappropriation of funds intended for the advancement of God’s Kingdom is something these leaders will one day be held accountable for.
